Design Features and the MA Series
The core of the product range for hoist travel mechanisms is the MA series. These electric motors transmit torque to the drive wheels of the trolley, ensuring stable movement along a monorail or dual-rail track.
The MA series motors are manufactured in a lightweight and durable aluminum housing. This engineering solution provides highly efficient heat dissipation under intensive cyclic loads and reduces the overall weight of the trolley structure.
Design Variations
- With Electromagnetic Brake (marked with index "B"): Equipped with an integrated disc brake. They ensure instant stopping and rigid load fixing, which is critically important for accurate positioning during installation work and to eliminate inertial overtravel.
- Without Integrated Brake: A classic, exceptionally easy-to-maintain solution for basic travel tasks where millimeter-level stopping accuracy of the mechanism is not required.
Important: MA electric motors are direct modern analogues and full replacements for obsolete Bulgarian motor series such as KK, KKE, A, and AE.
Technical Characteristics and Applicability
MMotors engines are selected in strict accordance with the hoist capacity. The model range covers the needs of hoists with a lifting capacity from 0.5 to 10 tons. Most single-speed models operate at a rotation speed in the range of 870–900 rpm, which provides an optimal horizontal travel speed of the hoist (typically around 20 m/min).
